Diversity, intersectionality, and representation are my north stars. I believe all product teams should reflect the people whose lives they aim to improve. In order to create truly equitable products, the lived experiences of those impacted should be present at the table, long before product work begins.
My best work happens in flat, senior and multi-disciplinary teams that are highly collaborative, creating products with demonstrable social impact. I have a deep commitment to using my skills and acquired privilege as a leader and designer to help improve the lives of under-represented and marginalized communities. Simply put, I thrive working on products that help others.
Outside of design, I’ve dedicated my off-time to an artistic practice of lettering, sign painting, calligraphy, illustration, and tattooing.
